Los hechos niegan esta realidad ya que menos del 30% de los empleados se sienten implicados en su trabajo. Este concepto se refiere a que los empleados quieren trabajar en un entorno que no solo sea entretenido, sino que satisfaga sus metas profesionales, sea significativo para ellos y les deje con una sensaci\u00f3n de control.<\/p>\n<p>He aqu\u00ed por qu\u00e9 deber\u00eda potenciar a los empleados en su negocio:<\/p>\n<h2>1.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Mayor Devoci\u00f3n por la Empresa<\/h2>\n<p>\u00bfRecuerda como en la escuela hab\u00eda clases que disfrutaba y otras que no? Hablando por mi propia experiencia, las clases que me gustaban eran aquellas en que me sent\u00eda en control, donde pod\u00eda expresarme en voz alta y mi opini\u00f3n importaba, e incluso aunque no fueran mi asignatura predilecta, me daban espacio para crecer. Las clases que no me gustaban ten\u00edan profesores que estaban siempre buscando la manera de da\u00f1ar mi imagen, o de humillar a los alumnos, o de hacerles sentir rechazados.<\/p>\n<p>Los mismos principios se aplican en nuestro caso. Si sus empleados se sienten en control, querr\u00e1n estar en la empresa, y desear\u00e1n trabajar para que prospere, no solo porque les pagan por ello, sino porque disfrutan de estar all\u00ed y porque les llena de otras maneras.<\/p>\n<h2>2.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Mayor Generaci\u00f3n de Ideas<\/h2>\n<p>Un empleado en control no se sentir\u00e1 como un rostro an\u00f3nimo m\u00e1s. Sentir\u00e1 que puede hablar claro y aportar sus ideas. Y esto es sencillamente genial para usted como empresario porque algunas de sus mejores ideas proceden de los que mejor conocen su empresa.<\/p>\n<p>Alguien me cont\u00f3 en una ocasi\u00f3n como fue denigrado cuando dos superiores estaban hablando entre ellos sobre la posibilidad de vender su aplicaci\u00f3n a una compa\u00f1\u00eda m\u00e1s grande. Cuando mi amigo intervino, le respondieron con un cortante \u201cContin\u00faa con tu trabajo.\u201d Otra manera de decir \u201cM\u00e9tete en tus asuntos\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Pero es que el asunto de alguien que trabaja en una compa\u00f1\u00eda es mejorar esa compa\u00f1\u00eda. El narrador de esta historia ten\u00eda una conexi\u00f3n obvia con la compa\u00f1\u00eda a la que pensaban vender. Cuando los superiores despreciaron su aportaci\u00f3n, perdieron tambi\u00e9n otras posibles ideas que llegar\u00edan con el tiempo y que ese empleado ya no tendr\u00eda la confianza de compartir. Este es un ejemplo de c\u00f3mo ciertos comportamientos sirven para debilitar la posici\u00f3n de sus empleados.<\/p>\n<h2>3.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Conc\u00e9ntrese en el Panorama a Largo Plazo<\/h2>\n<p>Una de mis historias favoritas de participaci\u00f3n laboral es la del conserje que trabajaba en la NASA. Cuando el presidente Kennedy le pregunt\u00f3 cu\u00e1l era su posici\u00f3n en la compa\u00f1\u00eda, \u00e9l contest\u00f3: \u201cEstoy ayudando a llevar un hombre a la luna.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Este es el tipo de potenciaci\u00f3n al que me refiero. Este hombre, sin importar el tama\u00f1o de su cargo, se daba cuenta de que era parte de algo m\u00e1s grande a lo que \u00e9l aportaba su grano de arena. Este es el tipo de potenciaci\u00f3n que crea los mejores equipos y que, en definitiva, lleva a una compa\u00f1\u00eda al \u00e9xito.<\/p>\n<p>As\u00ed que ah\u00ed lo tiene. Un empleado en control es un empleado entregado a su trabajo.
