Otro de nuestros lectores comparte la historia sobre su hijo que siempre quiere comprar el \u00faltimo iPhone. Su h\u00e1bito de compra insaciable le meti\u00f3 en muchos problemas. Esta es la historia real contada en sus propias palabras\u2026<\/em><\/p>\n

Demasiados iPhones<\/h2>\n

Los smartphones no est\u00e1n dise\u00f1ados para durar. Est\u00e1n dise\u00f1ados para encajar con la cultura de consumo donde solo sirven durante un a\u00f1o, cuando sale un nuevo modelo que deja al anterior obsoleto. Y mi hijo de 15 a\u00f1os es un perfecto esclavo de este ciclo que las compa\u00f1\u00edas tecnol\u00f3gicas han conjurado. Empez\u00f3 compr\u00e1ndose un iPhone 4, y luego quer\u00eda un iPhone 4s, tras lo cual quer\u00eda un iPhone 5. Y cuando se puso como loco por comprar un iPhone 5s, tuve que detenerle. Es un comprador en serie y yo sab\u00eda en mi fuero interno que este h\u00e1bito ser\u00eda muy perjudicial m\u00e1s adelante.<\/p>\n

Parece una progresi\u00f3n natural, \u00bfverdad? Por descontado un chico va a querer un iPhone 5 despu\u00e9s de un iPhone 4. Pero lo cierto es que yo gano un salario mensual, y ya no puedo permitirme estos h\u00e1bitos de comprador en serie. As\u00ed que aparentemente, mi hijo decidi\u00f3 que si yo no se lo compraba, encontrar\u00eda otra manera. \u00a1Y se meti\u00f3 en tantos problemas despu\u00e9s de eso!<\/p>\n

La Primera Mala Experiencia<\/h2>\n

Sin que yo lo supiera, mi hijo vendi\u00f3 su iPhone 5 en Internet. Encontr\u00f3 un comprador que viv\u00eda en la zona y condujo durante dos horas para encontrarse con \u00e9l. \u00a1Condujo dos horas para quedar con un perfecto desconocido! Hay muchas <\/em>cosas que est\u00e1n mal con esto, pero d\u00e9jeme hacer una lista de los peligros que m\u00e1s me preocupaban.<\/p>\n

  • Es demasiado joven para tener permiso de conducir.<\/li>\n
  • Tom\u00f3 prestado el coche de su amigo sin mi permiso.<\/li>\n
  • Condujo una gran distancia sin dec\u00edrmelo as\u00ed que yo no tendr\u00eda ni idea si algo le hubiera ocurrido.<\/li>\n
  • Acord\u00f3 reunirse con un desconocido que conoci\u00f3 en Internet<\/em>.<\/li>\n
  • Fue completamente solo.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

     <\/p>\n

    Hizo todo esto mientras yo estaba trabajando.<\/p>\n

    La persona con la que qued\u00f3 ten\u00eda m\u00e1s de 20 a\u00f1os, as\u00ed que se dio cuenta de que podr\u00eda enga\u00f1ar f\u00e1cilmente a un chico de 15 a\u00f1os. Esta persona le pag\u00f3 a mi hijo bastante menos de lo que hab\u00edan acordado, y consigui\u00f3 que mi hijo le llevara en coche a un vecindario que no me inspira ninguna confianza.<\/p>\n

    La Segunda Mala Experiencia<\/h2>\n

    Pod\u00edas pensar que ah\u00ed qued\u00f3 todo, pero ojal\u00e1 hubiera sido cierto. Cuando logr\u00f3 vender suficientes cosas como para conseguir un nuevo smartphone, mi hijo encontr\u00f3 a alguien en Internet que vend\u00eda su iPhone 5s en \u201ccondici\u00f3n impecable\u201d. Una vez m\u00e1s, condujo un largo camino<\/em> para quedar con el vendedor. Y esto es lo que sucedi\u00f3.<\/p>\n

    El vendedor, que no deb\u00eda pasar de los 25 a\u00f1os, exigi\u00f3 que mi hijo le diera el dinero primero. Cuando mi hijo replic\u00f3 que quer\u00eda ver el tel\u00e9fono primero, el vendedor sac\u00f3 un arma, la apunt\u00f3 a la cabeza de mi hijo y tom\u00f3 todo su dinero sin darle el tel\u00e9fono<\/em>. Entonces se dio a la fuga, dejando a mi hijo solo y asustado.<\/p>\n

     <\/p>\n

    Mi Soluci\u00f3n T\u00e9cnica<\/h2>\n

    No se puede imaginar el horror que sent\u00ed cuando mi hijo finalmente confes\u00f3 lo que hab\u00eda estado haciendo. Es entonces cuando decid\u00ed que necesitaba encontrar una manera mejor de aplacar su enfermedad de comprador en serie. Instal\u00e9 una aplicaci\u00f3n de control parental en su tel\u00e9fono. De este modo, pod\u00eda rastrearle dondequiera que estuviera, y pod\u00eda estar al tanto de sus h\u00e1bitos de navegaci\u00f3n en Internet. Ahora siempre s\u00e9 si est\u00e1 tratando de comprar o vender en Internet, o si se encuentra m\u00e1s all\u00e1 de un radio de 7 kil\u00f3metros.<\/p>\n

    Los chicos siempre van a querer novedades, pero tenemos que encontrar una manera de controlar esta necesidad. Al leer la historia de miedo de esa madre en tu blog me sent\u00ed inspirado para compartir la m\u00eda, porque estoy completamente de acuerdo con ella. El problema no est\u00e1 en darles tel\u00e9fonos a los chicos. Est\u00e1 en darles tel\u00e9fonos sin una vigilancia adecuada.<\/p>\n
