Most parents are concerned about their kids spending too much time on the internet. They are worried that this attachment might turn into an addiction. A\u00a0study<\/a>\u00a0shows that 60% of the kids (13 to 17 years) have admitted that internet addiction has become a real problem.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0Pew Research Center<\/a>\u00a0has found that 54% of the kids spend too much time on their cellphones, and 41% spend an alarming amount of time on social media. Another\u00a0study<\/a> showed that an average teen spends 9 hours of his day on the internet. However, kids between the age group of 8 to 12 years use the internet for 6 hours.<\/p>\n

Gen Z cannot think of spending their day without their smartphones. There is no denying that technology has helped us in every aspect of our lives. However, it has many harmful effects that can be dangerous for the kids and the parents too. Internet addiction can cause different health issues.<\/p>\n
