End Encryption is a Problem for Parents
WhatsApp

WhatsApp’s End to End Encryption is a Problem for Parents

WhatsApp went through a plethora of changes in the past year but none more important than the security features that have set it apart from all the other mainstream messaging apps available in the market to download and use. This is the End-to End encryption feature that WhatsApp has become infamous for and has caught much controversy too. Although WhatsApp was praised for its focus on privacy but it received a lot of criticism from authorities and concerned parents alike for its excessive thrust for end to end privacy. WhatsApp recently reached one billion active users who use the service every day. So one can never be sure of who a child just might be in contact with and this makes it extremely hard for parents who are concerned for the safety and well-being of their beloved kids to keep an eye on what they are doing and who they are contacting. It makes it even harder when authorities’ parents trust cannot access the necessary media to catch these predators. What is WhatsApp’s End to End Encryption? End-to end encryption in simple terms is hiding sent and received messages behind a locked door- the key to which is then thrown away. WhatsApp claims that oppressive regimes, corrupt governments, not even themselves can get into the encryption behind the WhatsApp messages. The only two parties who will ever read the message are the ones who send and receive the message. No one else can access these messages even if they try. Of course at face value this sounds like a great thing but what is most terrifying is that know will have any way of telling who a user was in contact with if for instance they are kidnapped or even are lost. XNSPY is an app that can help all such concerned parents around the world and give them the tools to protect their children from any harm. While this end to end encryption feature was introduced so that a user remains completely private while using the service it has serious implications on the security of the individual using it. If a child receives a message from a completely unknown number to which the child responds- parents have no way of knowing who their child is in contact with and what kind of messages they have been receiving. Furthermore if a child is then coerced into sending explicit media, the parents may never know- until something bad happens. More Dangers WhatsApp users have to be extremely careful these days as lists of phone numbers are constantly being put online by malicious hackers who infiltrate phone companies’ databases. These numbers of course include the phone numbers of children and teenagers. This is also how many strangers online get into conversations with teenagers. They will then manipulate these teenagers to send nude images of themselves and much more. There needs to be a check and balance here but unfortunately the end to end encryption mitigates that and tosses it out the window. Usually the government or a concerned authority such as the FBI will step in and nip this whole matter in the bud. But with the end to end encryption WhatsApp has now implemented these authorities and parents cannot intercept these explicit messages as their hands are completely tied in this matter. What is even more concerning is the thought that many terrorist organizations are now using this to their advantage. During the tragic Westminster attack in the United Kingdom, the attackers is said to have conspired using WhatsApp and remained hidden due to this end to end encryption.  The messaging service was even criticized for giving a place for terrorists to hide. The terrorist used WhatsApp to send a message before he went on his killing spree. Since intelligence agencies were not able to catch him due to the end-to-end encryption, he was easily able to carry out those heinous acts without getting caught. Now this is a serious cause for concern for parents around the world. Internet predators have become increasingly more creative with how they contact children and manipulate them for their own gain. Terrorist organizations are also recruiting young and impressionable children and teenagers online and services like WhatsApp are just what they are looking for. But the most immediate threat children face is those from online predators. Recent studies have shown that 60% of children are asked for nude images and a surprising number actually do send these pictures. In most cases the predator will manipulate the child to carry out sexual acts or even may try to set up a meeting with these children. So parents need to be wary and use tools like XNSPY to their advantage. How Parents can use XNSPY to protect their Children. Parents wouldn’t be hardpressed to find a plethora of WhatsApp tracking apps on the internet, but finding one that doesn’t break the bank and performs reliably can be tricky. This is exactly where Xnspy comes in. XNSPY provides a way for parents to combat the online predators on WhatsApp by giving them a way to intercede before and if something happens. XNSPY’s WhatsApp Features are great for parents to monitor their children’s interactions on the messaging app. XNSPY provides parents a way to monitor their children’s sent and received messages, view call-logs and even view deleted messages. With this a concerned parent can keep in view their child’s activities and make sure that they are not getting into unwanted trouble. The other party may not know that a concerned parent is viewing their messages and thus may continue to use their phone without any changes. See Also : How to Spy Whatsapp on  iOS and Android? XNSPY will allow a parent to view any and all message threads their child might receive. The end-to end encryption is bypassed and messages can be read without any trouble. Messages sent and received in real time can also be viewed by the user. Call-logs and media sent back and forth between

Everything You Need To Know About the Galaxy Note 8 Launch

Samsung are all ready and geared up to the max to bring to the world their all new flagship phone the Galaxy Note 8. The company had a rough go at it with the previous version of this series- the galaxy Note 7 when the phones literally started to explode in people’s hands. This was due to a faulty battery that over-heated and as a result engulfed itself in flames and then exploded. One such battery failure in the Galaxy Note 7 caused a man’s jeep to be set on fire. Samsung has since changed its battery manufacturers and sought to seek one that will at least not have their flagship smartphones blowing up. It is a shame that the Galaxy Note 7 will be remembered for as it is because it had a tight set of specifications under its belt to make one of-if not the best phone of its time. Samsung also suffered heavy financial losses and lost a lot of its credibility in the technology and phone world. But they have since made amends and are looking to make a furious comeback with the all new installment – Galaxy Note 8 set to be revealed to the world in full on Wednesday 23rd of August. Samsung Going Full Throttle Samsung has to make full amends and get everything right this time around to completely win back fans and put a rest to all the criticism they received over the Galaxy Note 7. And it looks like they are on the right track with this launch. Samsung is known for its flashy and entertaining phone releases. It usually has groups of dancers performing at their events and a few other exciting events preceding the actual reveal of the phone. But this time we can expect Samsung to get down to brass tacks almost right away. They can’t dilly dally with their world reveal of the Galaxy Note 8 since they lost so much credibility with the Note 7. It just might come off as disrespectful if they put on a dance and show and ignore the trouble caused by the previous installment. While Samsung has calmed its recent presentations and shows down a notch (probably because of the Galaxy Note 7 debacle) they will have to make this one even more so. This presentation is a very important turning point in the future of Samsung’s future. If they get everything right, people might forget about the Galaxy Note 7’s disaster and completely embrace the new Galaxy Note 8. Specifications News on specifications for the Galaxy Note 8 have been very sparse but we have received a number of details that are very interesting and make the Note 8 turn out to be one of the best phones we have ever heard of. All of these are still just an amalgamation of every leak and rumor up until now. We will only find out the true specifications with the world reveal. We are looking at a mammoth 6.4 inch 4K full high definition display. The iconic Samsung Stylus returns, heavily improved. Samsung has done away with the home button and have went for an almost bezel-less display. Leaks have also shown that the fingerprint scanner will be put on the back like the Galaxy S8. Samsung has opted for two back cameras. The two cameras will help with better depth perception in pictures and make for an overall better and brighter photo result. There is going to be an exclusive button for Bixby- the new Samsung helper. According to certain rumors, Samsung will now have one of if not the safest batteries in the phone industry. Hard to believe but that is what they stated during the Galaxy S8 event. According to Samsung they have an 8 point check for their batteries. Samsung might offer a peace treaty of sorts to the fans they’ve disappointed and even lost during the fiasco that was the Galaxy Note 7 explosions. This ‘peace-treaty’ might come in the form of discounted price, a free accessory or even an extended warranty. Rumors are pointing to an extended warranty life but those are just speculations. Whatever Samsung offers, it will help put a rest to the memory of the failed Galaxy Note 7. Possibly the best and most important part of the phone is the screen. The Galaxy Note 8 will possibly feature a 4K display all aimed to improve and help the Virtual Reality experience. Samsung was the first phone company to venture into the Virtual Reality world. The most important element in providing the best experience in Virtual Reality- other than VR headset itself is the screen it is attached too. Samsung aim to make the Galaxy Note 8 a true VR machine. They recently added support for Google’s Daydream and with their own Samsung VR already making rounds in the market, the release of the Galaxy Note 8 will be an exciting one for Virtual Reality fans. Samsung just might use this opportunity to breathe new life into their new voice assistant Bixby. Following an unconvincing launch for the voice assistant Samsung are sure to use this launch to their advantage. After all the Galaxy Note 8 has an entire button dedicated to the voice assistant. Bixby’s first impressions were mixed. For three months after the launch of the Galaxy S8 and S8+ users had a button on their phone that did not do anything. It took Samsung three months to completely roll out the full features of their new voice assistant. That coupled with the not so stellar performance and Samsung blocking users from changing the function of the Bixby button- it made for a very unfortunate start. But Samsung has been given another chance to prove Bixby’s merit and they will take the full advantage of the Galaxy Note 8 launch to promote it. Will XNSPY work with Galaxy Note 8? XNSPY will be compatible with the Galaxy Note 8. Users need not worry, and can continue to use

This Mobile Monitoring User Cleverly Uncovers a Cheating Boyfriend

XNSPY is a versatile tool built for supervision of another device without actually being by the device. One can see what is happening on one’s phone, such as message logs, call logs, app activity and much more. Users who have used XNSPY have mostly been parents of business owners, but around Valentine’s Day, we get a lot messages from users asking if they can use the app to check on their significant other. One of the most frequent messages around this subject we get is the question loyal significant others and if they can use the app to check this loyalty. Deciding how you use the app is up to you and the following story might answer your question about this subject: I was in a relationship with this guy for about two years. He was very sweet at first, always loyal and honest with, we were always very upfront about our feelings with each other. I never wanted us to think we had to hide anything from each other. I never wanted to think that we couldn’t trust each other. But what can you do honestly when they test your loyalty again and again. Fool Me Once, Blame’s on You I caught my boyfriend messaging another girl once when we were going to bed. He thought I was asleep but I noticed that he was texting someone, and he was trying to discreet about it. I was curious, not as sleepy, so I peeked. And lo and behold, he was planning to meet someone (a girl) for a date. I confronted him about it, we argued for a few days, I moved out. He soon came crawling back, begging for forgiveness, and I did forgive (which was very naïve of me). He promise he’d never do it again. Liar. Fool Me Twice, Blame’s on Me He was only sorry about getting caught, as became evident. Even though I forgave him, I was still on the edge about him after that. I mean, my trust had been broken already and it was hard to build back. I bought XNSPY as a way to quench my need for trust of some sort of proof I could lean against, so I knew for sure that I had something. And again, lo and behold, I did. Learning the Hard Way Let me just say that XNSPY is a terrific app. I didn’t use a lot of the features, but now that I’ve got, I don’t think I can live without it. Anyways, I used the message tracker, on simple SMS, and he was planning to meet someone again.   I was absolutely heartbroken, but resolute. I now had clear cut evidence of his unfaithfulness, something I needed so that I could move on without being stuck in the unfortunate limbo situation that I was. I didn’t confront him about it this time though. I simply took my things, packed everything I had and left while he was at work. He tried to contact me, message me, call me, but I didn’t reply. He didn’t know where I went to that was a plus. XNSPY saved my time. Stay loyal boys. Do you have a story that needs to be shared? Hyper Connectivity of Teenagers on Social Media is Damaging to Everyone

Things are not as they used to be, when your child’s life was physical and visible to only you. When records of their life where only found in really old album books, those pictures taken with Kodaks. Their life was a visible, linear line that you could track to their birth. And since their lives were simpler, so were their problems. Nowadays, on Instagram or Snapchat, they document literally everything they do. Even close, intimate events that might not have been shared if these platforms didn’t exist. They’re putting themselves out there, no filters of what should be shared and what shouldn’t be. Their lives are now being led from behind a screen. And we’re not saying that being connected to Snapchat or Instagram is a bad thing inherently, they are all neat and creative platforms that you can do a lot of good with. Unfortunately, this chance of good never taken. Parents have a lot of catching up to do. Sure, there is a definitive gap between the two generations and there exists a steep learning curve for any parents that wants to get involved in their child’s life, and if they don’t they’ll be left behind and disconnected from their child’s lives. Your Child’s Other Life Raising a child is absolutely different from what it used to be. Children today are born into devices, you’ll see a 3 year old master an iPad and know what exactly app to download to get what they want. Teenagers are old enough to be born with the internet and to grow up with it as well. This means they know all the rules, the etiquettes and the trends that happen online. And since they spend almost all their time online, their ‘true’ lives are online. In real life, some of them might just be taking a break. All of this might seem daunting as a parent. What are you supposed to do? You’re being left behind at a faster rate than you thought and it you don’t act fast enough, you might lose your child. Well, the first thing you need to do is know that anything that happens online is what happens in real life. All problems or dangers that exist in real life, exist in the online world. Think about it, “Stranger Danger”(don’t talk to strangers on the internet), Bullying (cyberbullying), being scammed etc etc. But all of these dangers are exemplified based solely on the nature of anonymity on the internet. Your child might face trouble from someone they don’t even know, or might never know. The trouble maker might get away with it without ever being caught. Your Involvement in Their Other Life The first step you should take is to take a little and understand internet behaviors. As we said, it’s just real life dangers translated digitally, so it might not be as daunting as you thought. Understand the true purpose of the apps they use such as Snapchat or Kik. When you have understood it, get involved. They don’t really have to live ‘another life’ if they think they have to hide something from you. Don’t punish them or come off as extra punitive. Let them be, but encourage them to share (as they do anyways online) For any extra measures, you should probably invest in a cellphone tracker app, as many parents are doing. This gives you a little more insight into their obscure lives and will give you a better understanding of their behaviors online. Get involved with your child or they might get absorbed by the online world!

How Mobile Monitoring Helps This Dad of a Teenager Keep Disaster at Bay

We have received plenty of stories and testimonies from users who have tried and tested the software and who have found it be of some or other use to them. Today we received a story from a single father who downloaded the app and how it helped it out. This is his story: I am a single father. I have a teenage daughter who is my life. Our family was still very young when my wife passed away, my daughter too young to understand what was happening but I had to pull through for her, I had to stay strong and be her rock. I’m not going to say it was always easy. She was sometimes very frustrated with my shortcomings and I was always frustrated of not knowing what to do. I never grew up with a sister so having to raise a little girl was a bit of a challenge. She knew I was trying and was patient enough to let me help her, as she knew I was trying to be patient. Not long after the passing of her mother, my daughter and I developed a very strong bond and we became each other’s primary support. My daughter is growing up to be a strong woman, very fearless and likes to challenge things on her own. She is 16 now but very mature for her age as circumstances led her to be. She, however, is still young and vulnerable. With her growing up, she likes to be independent more which means that she spends more time without me. And I’m going to be perfectly honest, the thought of her going away or detaching herself from me makes me sort of panic. It might sound a little selfish, but she is what gets me up every morning and if it wouldn’t for her, I would not have been this okay. So yes, I am a little protective of her but I know I can’t keep her ‘locked’ up, she has to grow up and leave the nest sometime. And I talked to her about this. I told her my insecurities and she assured me that she isn’t going anywhere and I was so adamant about knowing how she was when she wasn’t physically with me, then I could try this app she knew about. XNSPY. I was at first weary at the concept of this app, being able to track her real time location and message and call logs seemed like too much. She explained to me that for my peace of mind, it was the best solution I could ask for. And boy was she right. I downloaded the app as she asked me, and when she was out and about, sometimes out with friends, sometimes late at school or sometimes just anywhere where her friends planned to go, I knew where she was and what she was doing. I could be with her, without being with her and that is all that I could have hoped for really. I could make sure she was safe, still make sure that was was not in any danger and I could help if God forbid she was in danger. I can’t begin to tell you how much of a peace of mind this app has brought me. Also Check : Top 10 Mobile Spying Apps She is relieved about it too, that I’m not calling her every two minutes to ask where she is and when she’ll be coming home! I’m so proud of her, happy that she took with step with me, happy that she’s teaching me how to cope with her growing up. I wanted to write this for anyone in the same situation as me. I was, I guess too protective of her and that could have been damaging to her growth. This app is teaching that she can be independent, that she can live without me and I can live without her. Sure it may seem hyperbolic, but if it weren’t for this app I would have been in a real crisis. I might even be okay with her going away for college, although we haven’t talked about that prospect yet! Anyways, try XNSPY out, it helped me, it could help you. The Blue Whale Challenge: Is It a Myth or Reality?

The day you heard of the Blue Whale Challenge and the stories of suicides associated with it, like any concerned parent, all you wanted was to make your child stay away from it. But wait, before you start searching for ways tie up and keep your teen at bay, it is pertinent to find out what the Blue Whale challenge actually is. What Exactly is Blue Whale Challenge? Basically, it’s a social media game that has taken the world of teens by storm. It challenges teenagers to do outrageous tasks and eventually jump off a cliff. It has allegedly caused some teenagers to actually kill themselves. Crazy, isn’t it? The game began in Russia in 2013. It was invented by a former psychology student named Phillip Budeikin with the purpose of cleaning the society by pushing those to suicide “who bring no value to the world”. The reality about the game You cannot play Blue Whale on your computer; in fact, there is no website from where you can install it and then play. It has no app either. It is just a social media phenomena accessible through social media networks from the secretive groups. It is mainly played on social media apps like Instagram, messaging apps like WhatsApp and even online gaming chat rooms. It is said that the game was available on various mobile apps but it was later removed from the internet. The player is targeted by curators. Once you make a contract, you and the curator move to private chat and start taking up the challenges. A list of tasks is assigned to the player, usually one task per day. The tasks must be completed in 50 days. Some of the challenges include waking at 4:20 am, standing on the roof, don’t talk to anyone the entire day, cut your lip, and so on. The challenges become scarier as you move forward. Every time you complete a task, you have to send a video or photographic proof to the curator. How to join the game? Just do a quick search on Twitter for the hashtags #IAmAWhale and #BlueWhaleChallenge and you will be shocked to see the results. What’s more alarming is that people are trying to seek curators by tweeting with these hashtags. Check out some of the tweets: It is still unclear how this game floated on the internet and gained so much hype. According to some reports, the link for Blue Whale was floated on social media platforms like Facebook, WhatsApp, Gmail and Yahoo. The sad reality is that there is no forcing involved. Many teenagers took the challenge either for fun or to be a part of the social media buzz. If any participant tries to quit, he/she is cyber bullied and blackmailed to complete the game. The curators have your information and they know where you live so they will come after you.  Here is a Reddit post made by an anonymous participant about the how he found the game and the tasks he was pushed to perform. Blue Whale prompted suicides: Is it real or all made up? The number of suicide stories and their link with the Blue Whale challenge is increasing. According to USA TODAY, a 32-year-old woman, Natasha Cadena hung herself on July 4th in her apartment in Southwest of Wichita Falls. Her mother Sandy Cadena believes her daughter was a victim of the Blue Whale challenge. She said Natasha was doing hurtful things like cutting herself around different places and taking videos of the cuts. The case is still open and it is not confirmed whether the suicide was because of the Blue Whale challenge or some other reason. Read more about the story here. 130 deaths in Russia were allegedly linked to the game. An investigation from Radio Free Europe included that none of these deaths had any conclusive ties to Blue Whale. It seems that the teens who have committed suicides were vulnerable and they were simply attracted to this subculture. What should be your concern as a parent? You must be thinking to take your teen off from social media completely but that’s not the solution. What you can do is safeguard your children from this manic. Let’s say the game itself is not the cause of all these insane attempts; there are lots of children who can easily manipulate what’s happing around the world and blame everything on the Blue Whale challenge. No parent would want their child to be a part of this manipulation, right? So, here is how you can combat the situation: Your kid probably knows about the Blue Whale Challenge as per the media frenzy around. Find the right time and explain your concerns about this game. Keep a close eye on the latest internet trends especially among teens. Stay updated about the activities of your child at school. Check with their teachers regularly to find out the academic progress as well as behavior of your child.   Watch out for the signs There are some signs that can tell if your kid has become a victim of this challenge: Your child has become secretive about his/her online activities He/she is spending a lot of time on social media Whenever you approach them, they switch screens on their device Their school grades are becoming poor You are seeing self-inflicted wounds like scratches and cuts on their body A spying app can help! Just to be sure that your child is safe online and he/she does not even go close to this game, you can remotely install XNSPY on their smartphone. It is available for both Android and iOS. Through your account, you can monitor the call logs, text messages, social media activities, location and browsing history of your teen. If they happen to create any Blue Whale challenge hashtag or try to be a part of this game, you will figure it out immediately. Even though we do not yet have sound evidence that the suicides among teens

WhatsApp Hits 1 Billion Daily Users and What it Means for XNSPY Users

WhatsApp is an instant messaging service that allows users to send messages to each other, send pictures, videos, and other media. It also allows users to post a ‘story’ that stays up for 24 hours, an undeniable Snapchat clone. WhatsApp was acquired by Faceboook in 2014, and since then it has seen staggering growth. At the time Facebook acquired WhatsApp, it only had 315 million daily users. WhatsApp as of 2017’s second quarter’s earnings has reported 1 billion active daily users. WhatsApp has also reported that users send over 55 billion messages to each other daily, and 4.5 billion pictures and 1 billion videos. WhatsApp is not as popular in the US as a messaging service but despite that one out of every seven people on the planet use the instant messaging app. The app is available in 60 different languages. The free to download app has taken over traditional SMS messaging because of its user friendly user interface and its multiple features, not found in traditional texting. WhatsApp Status, the latest feature in WhatsApp that was an undeniable move to capture the Snapchat market by cloning it’s most recognized feature, has already gained WhatsApp 175 by May and 75 million users in only 2 months. Instagram (also owned by Facebook) with its stories feature had 200 million daily users and Snapchat, who made the stories feature, lags far behind with 166 million daily users. Facebook Is Capitalizing on This Growth by Increasing Ads Facebook knows the reach all of its platforms possess. Facebook, Instagram, Messenger and WhatsApp all have extensive potential for ad revenue. Instagram has increased ads and Facebook already is an ad hub, but now the ads are being extended to Messenger. The ads in Messenger is still in testing phase, as ads will be soon displayed between individual conversation threads. This move seems seem like a smart one from a business point of view, but Facebook has a system called “ad-load” where a platform can display a number of ads before it starts getting intrusive of annoying. Last year, Facebook had warned it’s investors that it has maxed out its ad load. To increase its ad load, Facebook has now started showing ads in the Messenger app. WhatsApp might not see the same fate as WhatsApp CEO, Jan Koum, promised that the app would have “absolutely no ads interrupting your communication” when Facebook bought it in 2014. XNSPY and 1 Billion WhatsApp Users With 1 billion daily users, the need for WhatsApp Spy has increased tenfold. With so many people using WhatsApp now, users, parents and anyone who is weary of the app needs to take advantage of WhatsApp Spy now more than ever. With WhatsApp Spy, users can track incoming and outgoing messages, user are able to track any pictures that are transferred and any media that is exchanged. Videos are also easily traceable. With WhatsApp enormous growth, it’s wise to have a sort of back to have when something bad happens. See Also:  How to Spy Whatsapp on iOS and Android?

Why Does XNSPY Have To Exist?

You might be wondering why an app that tracks the activity of another device even have to exist. What could the other device be doing that the other person cares so much about that they feel the need to track? There’s this moral question that always comes up with this sort of situation. Is it wrong to look at another person’s device? Am I transgressing boundaries when I buy an app solely to track the activities of another device? Well, first you have to determine who the other person is, really, if you have an authority over them, and if you’re responsible for their actions. Do their actions carry consequences on you? Do you have to fix what they broke? Reimburse for what they broke? Obviously, in these situations, you are in some of authority. You have responsibilities towards them. It is your job to make them feel safe and secure and to make sure they aren’t doing anything that would eventually come to hurt the both of you. The reason why Xnspy and similar android spying apps of its nature exist is so you, as an authority, have some control over situations so that they lead to the best outcome without hurting anyone. But what is this authority? Have you ever been given responsibility over something, and were meant to keep an eye on? Like a friend was going on vacation and they asked you to take care of their cat and to ask you to feed it daily. Simple enough job right?  Well what if one day you come in to feed the cat and he or she isn’t there. They’ve suddenly disappeared. You wish there was a tracker in his collar or something, but sadly there isn’t. Whether it’s your fault or not, you will be blamed for losing the cat. Now imagine the same sort of responsibility with having a child. Obviously, taking care of a cat and child are two very different things. Taking care of a child is much more difficult and complex, but the situation with a cat can happen too. Your child might one day not reply to texts or pick up your calls and you might not have any way of contacting them. God forbid a situation like that even happens, but would you ever want to feel helpless if it happens. Would you not, with your own hands, want to do something about it? That is why XNSPY exists, to give you something to fall back on as an authority, to give you sort of a ‘back up plan’ when an emergency occurs. With the ‘lost’ situations, you can simply use XNSPY’s real time location tracker and locate where your child is. And obviously, that isn’t the only time you’l’l need, other features like WhatsaApp, FacebookSpy, Message Tracker, Call Log Tracker etc will help out in an array of problems and situations and you will find using XNSPY more and more, because of the convenience. XNSPY, however, might not be able to help out with lost cats!
