A Dedication to all XNSPY Moms on Mother’s Day 2016

It’s time of the year when we celebrate our most cherished partners—the XNSPY Moms. With their ferocious energy and their unparalleled dedication to raising their kids in the best way, they have continued to inspire us, inform us and make us better. So this blog is dedicated to them, for their endless efforts, their fierce commitment, and their willingness to keep on learning. Throughout the year, these amazing XNSPY mothers have shared their parenting techniques with us. And you know what? We’ve been enlightened on the many ways our app can be used that we ourselves did not realize. I find that quite amazing, but it only goes to show that XNSPY has become a community of sorts, and these mothers captain the ship. Here are 3 instances where our techy mothers gave us a lesson in parenting the right way. The Mom Who Used a Mobile Tracker This Mom shared on our blog a powerful and deeply personal story about how her son had to suffer at the hands of bullies and how she found an ally with her mobile tracker. Her story was in particular striking to us because we’ve taking about XNSPY as a preventative measure to cyberbullying on countless occasions. But what we tend to overlook is that many times, in person, physical bullying exists just as many times as cyberbullying and that XNSPY can be used to counter both. This mother amazingly used the GPS tracker to find her son who had been whisked away and assaulted by his bullies. We salute both her ability to use technology in dire circumstances and her bravery to go on looking for her son when she didn’t know what to expect. The Mom Who Savvy With WhatsApp Monitoring This Mom really inspired us because she was the epitome of the kind of mothers we are trying to empower. These are the mothers who may not have grown up in the technological era, who may not be as familiar with smartphones or know much about what’s popular on the internet. But these women know that in order to be better mothers, they need to get over their tech phobia and learn modern parenting techniques. We loved this mother’s spirit because she did not stop learning. Her inquisition of modern day parental controls brought her to our homepage. In this case, particularly to our WhatsApp spy app. This Mom is an example to everyone out there who is afraid they’re out of touch and can’t get with the technology of today. Be as forward thinking and bold as this mom! The Mom Who Shared the Perils of Oversharing This Mom gave us all a lesson into the perils of oversharing. She candidly shared the story of her teenage daughter who was a bit of a selfie addict. All her selfies would end up on social media, where they ended up being exploited by third parties who turned her into a meme, mocked her, and reposted her photo on inappropriate websites. The mother gave our readers pointers on how to look after the social media profiles of our children and what can be done to overcome oversharing on the internet. We love this mom because she not only presented a story, she went one step further and gave us pointers on what would’ve helped solve this situation and what others should do when they’re facing a similar situation. This Mom is the empowered XNSPY mother who introduces us to new parenting techniques which only serves to add to our knowledge. As always, we are open to stories and lessons on parenting from all of our readers. But on this particular day, we want to celebrate the mothers who are at the heart of this blog. And so, to all those mothers, I’d like to offer my heartiest; Happy Mother’s Day!

Your Mom is Probably Superwoman and You Don’t Even Know it

It’s going to be Mother’s Day soon! And you know XNSPY is all about celebrating the empowered mother who somehow manages to make everything work and stay on top of the game. I mean, haven’t you ever wondered how your mom manages to go to work, do the laundry, pick up the groceries, keep things under the budget and whip up your favorite meal all in the same day? Well, we’ve wondered too. Moms are done with half their days work by the time we decide to get out of bed. We’ve thought and we’ve thought—there’s no other explanation to it. Moms are not human. They’re superheroes. Your mom is probably SuperMom on the sly and you don’t even know it. And you know what? They’ll probably kick any other superhero’s rare end in a faceoff. Because the SuperMom is the best superhero of like, ever. Let’s break it down. Spiderman vs. SuperMom Spiderman is all about the gimmicks if you think about it. He spends half his time sowing his costume and the other half reloading his web shooters. It’s all smoke and mirrors. Spiderman is no match for SuperMom. I think he realizes that, too.  In fact, I think he fears her secretly. SuperMom on the other hand is real. She has the power of nocturnality. And she didn’t get that from a radioactive spider. She has years of sleepless night with a crying infant to practice. Besides, Spiderman is a teenager. He has a SuperMom at home too, and he’s no good to Queens, NY if Aunt May decides to ground him. SuperMom : 1 Spiderman: 0 Captain America vs. SuperMom Someone had to inject a Super-Soldier Serum into Captain America’s body for him to get strength, agility, speed and all that lot. SuperMoms are born with it. Their super reflexes help them making sure the baby does not fall of the changing table; the agility helps her in keeping the teenage son in line. Even Dad thinks twice before crossing her. That makes SuperMom a way better field commander. Captain America has no way of keeping his soldiers together all the time. SuperMom has a mobile monitoring app that tells her where her family is at any hour of the day. SuperMom: 1 Captain America: 0 Thor vs. SuperMom Okay, so maybe Thor can track objects in a superhuman way, but you know what? SuperMom can track cell phones. They probably don’t have cellphones in Asgard, so they don’t realize how much more useful tracking them over other things is. Because they let SuperMom know if villains are plotting against her kids. Plus, Thor needs his hammer to lift heavy stuff. But have you heard the story of a SuperMom who lifted a 1500 kg car off her kid to save his life? And she did it without a Mjolnir, too. And what happens if Thor’s cape gets in the way? Nuff said. SuperMom: 1 Thor: 0 SuperMom Wins! So now you know. All the radioactive spider bitten, genetically modified, Norse-god types are no match for your mum. And, like all superheroes, she doesn’t do it for the money or the fame or the glory. She does it because she loves her family and has the most powerful sense of responsibility. Ever wondered what would happen if SuperMomstarts getting paid for their jobs? Money Supermarket explains: SuperMom can easily make $50,000 in a week just by taking care of you. But like most Superheroes, she often isn’t appreciated enough for the work she puts in. So, from now on, we’re taking down our Cap posters and replacing them with SuperMom instead!

I’m a Mom that Uses iPhone Spy Software with No Regrets

This week is all about celebrating the awesomeness of moms everywhere. We’re bringing it home to celebrate one of our very own; a true blue XNSPY mom that has discovered the wonders of parenting with our iPhone spy for parents. Here is her digital parenting experience in her own words… Are your kids at that age where they feel like they are beyond rules and curfews? Because my 13 year old son sure is. I usually shrug off the moodiness and bad attitude as part of growing up, the confusing time in between childhood and adulthood. But when he decided to sneak out of the house after I went to sleep, I just couldn’t take it anymore. That for me was way out of line. So I went online shopping and got myself the iPhone spy software to put on his brand new iPhone 6s. And the results were instantaneous. How I Managed to Keep Tabs on Him When his dad decided to buy him the new iPhone 6s, I grasped at the chance and installed the app onto it before we gave it to him. And that’s all I had to do because XNSPY did all the rest. The best part is that it runs invisibly in the background so he doesn’t really know that there is monitoring software installed. However, I have control over his device, and I know all the communication that goes on through it. Which brings me to the next segment… How XNSPY Stopped His Sneaky Habits What this iPhone monitoring app has done is give me remote access to his phone. Which means I can literally see everything that he does on his iPhone without even having to touch it. I can Read his emails See his sent/received SMS Record his calls See iMessages Track his GPS location And you know why that’s great? The minute he starts making plans to sneak out with his friends, I’m already in the know because I go through his texts and calls. And if he’s acting alone, the second he steps out of the house, I get an alert from the GPS feature and catch him in the act right away. XNSPY Keeps Me One Step Ahead Teenagers are volatile, aren’t they? You never know what they’re going to do next. Which is why you, as the parent, need to be twice as quick-witted as them. That’s what the iPhone spy software does for you—put you one step ahead of them. I always have foreknowledge of what my son’s intensions are and so I’ve been able to discipline him better. If you’ve got children that don’t follow their curfews, XNSPY will help you keep in the loop with their habits. Do you have any digital parenting related anecdotes of your own? Why don’t you share your experiences with us and help us grow? Write to us or leave a comment below! See Also: Stalkerware Apps for iPhone

Alert for Gen X All Millennials Want From Managers is Open Communication

Alert for Gen X: All Millennials Want from Managers is Open Communication!

The old generation gap between top managers and new recruits. The saga continues. This time, it stems from the Millennial complain that Baby Booms are simply not very good communicators, particularly in an official setting. And you know what? I have to give it to Gen Y on this one. Gen-X seems to have been raised during a time where hierarchal structures were all the rage. Everyone knew that there was a top management and a scary CEO in a polished suit and tie who sat in the grand office suite on the top floor. But somehow, not a lot of people were allowed in that suite. Heck, perhaps some of the new kids would never even get to see this mysterious man in a suit in person. All they knew about him was that he signed their paychecks every month and sent someone to conduct quarterly reviews. Those reviews were mostly bad… it was their one chance to point out everything you were doing wrong and appreciate nothing you were doing right. But times have changed and Millennial run organizations are nothing of that sort. The organizational structures tend to be flatter. They employ a work hard, play hard ethic, they sit on their bean bags and they work in one room. (Xanax) They celebrate when they finally get office chairs. The General Manager looks around for an empty seat and sits next to the new programmer guy. The Managing Director huffs and groans as he realizes some kid from the design team has stolen his chair yet again. The difference between these two scenarios is very simple: In the Gen-X style of organization, there is a lot of centralization. There invisible boundaries that exist at every level of management. The juniors have probably never even met the seniors. The employees at the lower ends of the hierarchies are like the Oompa Loompas that have to work away, getting the occasional command from Willy Wonka to know there is about to be a change in the direction. There is no two way communication. There are only commands. In the Millennial style organizations, people work together as a given. Roles are well defined, but people don’t take power trips over their title. Everyone realizes that every single member of the organization makes the confluence. That the junior programmer is just as important as the GM and that there is an open line of communication between the two. Here’s an infographic from 15 Five that explains it all: http://www.15five.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/Workplace-Communication-WEB.jpg So what’s it going to be, Gen-X managers? Are you going to continue to be authoritative and commanding? Or are you ready to accept that the flow of the water has changed? If you’re smart—and I’m assuming that you are—you’ll start giving up the old and tired ways of secrecy and information withholding and start practicing the openness and creativity of the young ones. You’ve got to move forward, after all, haven’t you?

How-To

How to Record Calls on Any Android Smartphone—Part 2

And we’re back with our tutorial. In the last blog, we talked about the initial steps you needed to start recording calls on an Android phone. We listed down some problems you could face while you’re trying to monitor calls. Plus we gave you some tips and solutions so you could have a flaw free recording experience. So, without further ado, here is the rest of the tutorial for your convenience. Step 4: Go to Recorded Calls Tab To start recording calls, click on the “Call Recording” tab. You can find it on your left on the sidebar. Clicking on it should open up the call recording page where all your recordings are stored. From here, select if you want to listen to all recorded calls or switch to the recorded call of another monitored device. You can also delete any audio clip at any time if you feel like it is not relevant, taking up too much space, or is simply causing too much clutter. Once the calls have been recorded, you can view the following information regarding your target phone: Caller’s name Caller’scontact number Date and time of call Duration of call Size of the recording file You can also search through this call log by name or number and look through the phone’s call log history. Step 5: Listen and Download Along with the information mentioned above, you will also be given the option to Download file Listen to file If you click on listen, you will be able to hear the recorded conversation right there. However, this option plays the file on the control panel’s default audio player. This is why we recommend our users to download the file and play it on VLC because it has a higher audio resolution that will help you listen to the recording better. (crossover99.com) Step 6: Define Watchlist Phone Numbers If you think searching through the entire call log to find your “blacklisted” number is too tedious, you have the option to define suspicious phone numbers on the Watchlist. That way, you will only be notified when that particular caller dials your target phone. Parents, you can use this feature to black list your child’s friend who you think is bad company. This will help you monitor their conversation and be sure if they’re talking about getting in trouble or just discussing homework. Start Recording Calls! And you’re just about done! You are ready to start recording calls. Just make sure you have checked you device’s compatibility, your OS requirement, Google’s geo restrictions and your network provider’s policies before you start using the feature. Call recording will be very helpful once you’ve met all the requirements. It can help you remember meetings, or keep a log of memorable conversations. It can even help you save your life if you’ve been getting threatening phone calls because it gives you evidence to take to the authorities for your security. I hope this tutorial on recording calls has helped you out. If you have any queries that I haven’t addressed, feel free to leave a comment below. See Also: Spy Apps for Android

How to Record Calls on Any Android Smartphone—Part 1

Are you guys ready for another tutorial? By popular demand, the feature I’ll be talking to you guys about today is call recording. This month, this was the function of XNSPY you guys were most curious about. You had a lot of questions about it, too. A lot of you want to know why this feature does not work for you, and if it does, how you are supposed to use it. So I’ll be talking about call recording in more detail which should answer some of the most popular questions. Before I give you the breakdown, let’s talk about when or why you would need to record yours or someone else’s calls. Some of the situations in which you might record a phone conversation are: When you want to keep legal evidence of a negotiation or verbal agreements When you are having a discussion/meeting and want to keep track of all the points addressed When you are interviewing someone or are being interviewed When you are being threatened by someone So yes, recording a phone conversation can be a very nifty feature. A good part of our subscribers are parents and they’ve told me how listening to the conversations between their children and their friends have helped them get a better insight to their kid’s life. Now that we know where you could use it, let’s begin this tutorial on how to record calls on your mobile phone. Step 1: Install XNSPY Recording a phone call on your own device is pretty easy. Your phone or OS usually comes equipped with a record button which does the work for you, or you contact your service provider. Recording a phone call on someone else’s phone is the tricky bit. This is where XNSPY comes in. It enables you to listen to your target phone’s conversations remotely. We’ve get a lot of calls from concerned parents and this is the feature we usually recommend because it lets them know who their kids have been talking to and what the nature of their conversation is. So to download XNSPY, head over to the home page and click on “Buy Now” to land on the purchase platform. For a complete guide to the installation process, check out our how to install page. It should also help you with the initial orientation. Step 2: Check Requirements For the call recording feature to work, you need to check your phones requirements and compatibility. Currently, this feature is supported on all Android phones. You can check your phone’s compatibility here. XNSPY works on most Android phones and versions, but you can still run a query to be sure. We have received a few rather agitated complains from users that talk about their recordings turning up one sided. If you’re facing this issue, I would like you to that this problem does not occur because of XNSPY. Do not panic and think there this something wrong with the application. This is the issue with a lot of Android devices and comes with the firmware settings. The built in settings cause the mic to be disabled when a call is received, causing the recording to turn up one-sided. Every phone has a customer firmware setting, thus unfortunately I cannot provide a general solution to this problem. What you can do, however, is check any location restrictions placed by Google or your network provider in your area. These could interrupt the recording process. Also make note that different devices will also have different results as far as the sound quality and reception is concerned. Step 3: Check Control Panel Once you’ve installed XNSPY, go to the control panel. You’ll arrive at the dashboard. This will give you a summary of all the incoming and outgoing calls as well as text messages. This will also provide you with the phone call related stats based on previous data before you start spying with the mobile phone monitor in real time. We will carry on this discussion in the next blog where you’ll learn a couple of really useful add ons so that you can have an even more enhanced call recording experience. Till then, stay tuned! Employees should not stop learning
Employee Monitoring

Making Sure Your Employees Never Stop Learning

I’m going to start off today’s blog by sharing with you a really simple but effective infgraphic about employee learning that I recently came across. It’s by Common Lab and here it is: They’ve specified 5 dimensions of employee learning which I found really interesting. Because I feel like the infographic hits the bull’s eye when it comes to the very basic needs of an average worker. And it is something that I’d been thinking about a lot lately. I think that small business owners in particular make a fundamental mistake when they recruit and hire. They hire a person for a job, and that’s about it. It’s funny how sometimes big organizations may seem like smaller communities when they implement their HR strategies right. Bigger organizations have departments that make sure that the employees are engaged and stimulated by their work and that their need for association is being met. In contrast, a small business owner probably has too much on their plate to think about the depth and breadth of employee learning and development. Thus, there are a few lessons we can learn from this infographic: First, you need to create programs in a way that day to day activities don’t seem like a chore. It is when end goals are largely undefined that frustrations occur. Have defined endgames and encourage creativity in the process it takes to achieve them. Appreciate imaginative endeavors and establish a culture of innovation. Do not promote hardcore individualism. Sure, it will be great for a while, but there will come a time when your staff will start feeling the alienation. Encourage people to sit in groups and have brainstorming sessions. Align your desks in flat structure so people may communicate with each other. Bring together two different departments and assign them a project to build in-organization synergies. At the end of the day, know that when your employees invest their time and money into your company, they are want personal growth. They want their career to progress. If you have them continue doing what they do without moving forwards, their learning curve will most definitely go down. They will eventually burn out and have nothing of value to add anymore. Invest in employee development and learning because at the very core of it, you are investing in your own company’s resource. If you’re a business owner or manager, take some time to ponder over these points. Are you applying employee learning techniques? What more would you add to this paradigm?

Internet Anonymity
Tips

The Curious Case of Internet Anonymity

Online Anonymity, quite simply is when you hide your true identity. You could be Pretending to be someone else Using an alias Using no online name at all A lot of social media websites these days having the option for anonymous posting. For example, Tumblr famously uses the “ask box” which gives its users the option to talk to each other anonymously. People who prefer to keep their usernames hidden can do so easily. Then there is Ask.fm where the asker has the choice to send in the question without revealing their true identity. There’s also LiveJournal that gave its users the option to hide their identity way before it was cool. And then we have 4chan which has always been one big anon convention. But let’s not go there. And then, have you heard of Anonymous? You must have, they’re the online group that’s on the news all the time. They’ve gotten into quite a lot of trouble with their videos and raids. There are a pretty big deal in the anonverse because of the shenanigans they get into. And that’s putting it lightly. Who knew anonymous posting was such a big deal? But that’s what I want to talk to you about today. Online anonymity is not new, but it is certainly on the rise. It was a top trend of 2014 and I don’t see it going anywhere in 2016 either. You’ve seen the power anon posting has if it can turn into something like the league of legions. When you’re faceless and nameless, it’s a lot more difficult to trace you out. And that’s where the problem lies. Your teen could be making friends with an anon, and you would have no way to know who they are. But is  Anonymity All that Bad? When you have transparency, you have a single identity. This means you are held responsible for whatever you do. When you have anonymity, you have no true online identity which means that you have no accountability for what you do. Now you could use this for good, like the group Anonymous did when speaking out against injustice. Or you could use it for other things, such as stalking or bullying. In this case, anonymity is bad. Now, let’s look at what people do when hide their online identity. The top social activity is participating in interest groups. If you have a teen at home, they’d probably call them fandoms. Fandoms are great when you’re excitedly discussing your favorite book or TV show. They’re not so great when those anonymous discussions turn sour. Anonymity is polarizing, isn’t it? Why Anonymity Over Identity? Before we go on, take a look at this Infographic by Namesake: Using Facebook and 4chan as the vehicle, it tells you about why people prefer either anonymity or transparency. Facebook might make your more popular amongst your circle, but with anonymity, you’d be able to do things that don’t conform to your established identity. Based on this infographic, take a look at this to know why someone prefers being anonymous over identified and vice versa. How Can Anonymity Be Harmful? If your teen goes to a message board or a social media site that has anonymous posting, chances are they’ll be talking to many kinds of people without knowing who they actually are. They could be having detailed conversations with them, even sharing personal information. That’s how a lot of cyber stalking cases begin. Your teen could be talking to a predator pretending to be another teenager, or someone else. See Also: How Can I Track Internet History On a Cell Phone? So there is a good and a bad to it. But that’s where you have to step in and take control. Monitor your child’s online activity so you can be absolutely certain they’re been safe and not communicating with malicious strangers. In all fairness, everyone on the internet is an anon. But it is when they wear the cloak of anonymity that all accountability is shed off them, and gives them “license” to be crude, mean or downright criminal. But as long as you’ve got your parental control on your side, you should be in the clear.

Employees Tracking
Employee Monitoring

A Commentary on Tracking Employees on the Move

An XNSPY reader recently wrote quite a great piece on employee tracking as a convenience and a phenomenon. They explain the uses quite well and provide readers the sensibilities of both sides. Here’s the rather informative piece that had us thinking… Tracking employees is an emerging practice that is fast enabling managers to better streamline their employees. Mobile phone trackers have proven to be especially helpful in organizations where either both employees and managers or one party is on the go. Supply chains in particular can benefit greatly from mobile phone trackers. Having dispatched a shipment, the manager can not only communicate the best routes, but also be aware of safety issues in real time. They can also monitor if the delivery is indeed being made at the right place rather than being sold off midway. The trackers thus eliminate the risk that comes with blind trust. (https://loscoches.com) The same principle can be applied to companies that have similar operations: online stores, courier and logistics companies, even restaurants, all of which have to rely on delivery. The tracking systems can also be used by companies that have door to door operations. Sales teams, for example, can apply this practice where each sales rep can be tracked so that their safety is ensured and the manager knows the areas which they have covered so that none is left out. Mobile tracking can also be used in office environments. Managers can track the amount of time an employee spend in his/her workspace, and the amount of time they spend elsewhere and thus calculate their productivity and time management. Of course, this cannot correctly asses the time being spent in the workspace in qualitative terms, but it seems like a viable option to use if a manager is on the go. They can also make sure that the employee spend their allotted number of hours in the workplace and not leave early once the head is gone. This method of managing can pose some ethical issues. First, workers need a certain level of autonomy in order to be productive. Excessive surveillance may have the opposite effect, that is workers might not work at their optimum for worry that they are being watched. Employees are perhaps more comfortable with cameras because given the nature of our times, they have accepted it as a necessary measure for security, not only their surveillance so it benefits them as well. Individual tracking on the other hand might make them feel as if their employers have no trust in them. Thus those workers that rely on autonomy will find themselves at a disadvantage. Second, tracking employees requires a certain amount of real time monitoring. There is no use of having a brilliant tracking device and not using it when it’s required. Most manager that only perform end of day checks will find themselves at a great disadvantage. This practice therefore requires trust from both ends. Keeping this problem in mind, employees and employers must communicate with each other through this tracker, keeping the office manager updated while the employee is on the field. Mobile tracking is a useful tool for managers, helping them stay better connected to their employees. However, it is important for a manager to lay down the rules for its usage so that it remains appropriate surveillance rather than an invasion of privacy. Do you have something to say? Your Business Can Use Ecommerce to Stand Out from the Crowd

Let’s face it—the internet is a crowded place. You need to separate yourself from the proverbial pack in order to survive. Why do you think in a place where millions of people can upload almost anything on the internet that only a few videos go viral? They may not even be the best quality ones out there. What they do have is impeccable online marketing skills that elevates their business to a whole new level. Here are 4 simple ways in which you too can use eCommerce to stand out from the crowd: Think in Keywords It may sound simple, but an attractive video title may be the only thing you need to get a significant number of hits. Think of something you would immediately want to click if you are randomly browsing YouTube one day. Hell, your video itself may not even have the “Best” or the “Most Shocking” or “Exclusive” content it claims to have. But you just need to grab their attention and start a conversation. Not that you should practice false advertising. Just give them something they would completely just need to find out about and include that in the content that you put in. Keep a Constant Eye on Your Progress As a modern marketer, it is wise for you to have access to social media at all times. Applications like Mobile Facebook and Tweetdeck can be more rewarding than you think. In order to be a ecommerce savvy marketer, you must think like a ninja. Strike while the iron is hot. Always know what is being said about you. Read through the comments section of wherever you have chosen to market your product. It will increase your consumer reaction knowledge like nothing else will. Keeping constant watch may also tell you how the internet traffic times fluctuate for your product. You won’t know when to strike if you forget to check your Facebook. That’s not very ninja like. Stir the Pot While we are on the topic of reading through the comments sections, it won’t be unwise for you as a marketer to guise yourself as a consumer and take part in the conversation yourself. Sway the conversation in your favor if things are getting out of hand. Give the commentators extra knowledge about the product, and give personal examples. People like to buy things based on what others are saying about them rather than what the company says about their product. The internet gives you perfect anonymity for this part. Litmus Tests Work, too Social media networking has also given marketers a perfect platform to study customer responsiveness. So before you want to launch your product, give it a test run. Maybe “accidentally” leak a teaser for your product. It worked for the iPhone4, did it not? A teaser—a leaked picture, a prototype that a “consumer” got hold of before its release—will help in creating hype for your product. And then you as a social media expert can detect exactly what kind of hype it is. What more do people want? Will they want to buy it at all? A ninja always stays a few steps ahead.
