Snapchat Monitoring App
Parental Monitoring

Why is Your Child’s Snapchat Worth Monitoring?

If you haven’t heard already, we’ve recently added Snapchat monitoring into our list of offered features. This came after much request and anticipation from our community of parents, who wanted in on the trend that’s taken over every child’s social media habits. In the past, we tried to find a way around it by giving you Live Screenshots. We would advice that you remotely take screenshots of your child’s phone whilst they are Snapchatting. While that was a temporary means of supervising, we wanted to create something permanent and purposed based for monitoring the Snapchat app. So we are absolutely pleased to have brought for this long awaited feature. For parents who are not fully familiar with the Snapchat craze, let me bring you up to speed. What is Snapchat? Snapchat is a mobile app that people use to send photos and videos. These photos or videos can be sent to individuals or groups, in the same way that you can message a single person privately on Facebook or set a status for all to see. What is the unique selling point for this app? The photos or videos self destruct after a designated time. For instance, if you have set the timer for the photo to self destruct within 15 seconds, the picture will be gone forever after that. Moreover, the receiver cannot download the photo (although you are able to do so). They can take a screenshot, but the sender is informed right away if they do so. There are other little tidbits that you can do with Snapchat as well. You can doodle over pictures, add emoticons and captions on the photos. Moreover, Snapchat keeps on coming with filters that give your picture an extra oomph. Kids have way too much fun with the filters. If you don’t believe us, check out the dog filter (we are still trying to figure out why it is as popular as it is). If sending a single person a picture is not enough for you, you can set up a Snapchat story which is essentially like a Facebook status because everyone on your friends list can see it. However, it is different because it is a collection of your photos and videos that you take in a day… and they self destruct within a 24 hour period. What Does “Gone Forever” Mean? A lot of people (parents, usually) can’t seem to understand the appeal behind the “gone forever” part of Snapchat. The app is used to send photos and videos to people. Generally, we believe photos and videos to be keepsakes. Something we can revisit and keep for memories. So the fact that this app zeroes in on the temporality of instant communication is unusual. Thus, parents are concerned that with this app, they can’t review the snaps and videos their child sends and receives because they cannot be saved on the smartphones. We understand this dilemma completely. After all, we ourselves advice parents to monitor multimedia, don’t we. But there is more to the “gone forever” aspect that meets the eye. Like we’ve said so many times before, when you perform an activity on the internet, it leaves a digital footprint. Nothing is ever well and truly gone from the internet. You activity or posts are stored in several servers around the world, so you can’t ever be sure that they are deleted from everywhere. The other thing is that the other person can take screenshots. While the sender of the photo is informed of this action, there is nothing they can do to stop it. What is it Used For? Generally, Snapchat is just a fun and instantaneous way of communicating with friends and family. It feeds the Millennial appetite of speed and instant gratification and it is just interactive and exciting to use. However, the “gone forever” aspect of the app has been misused by teens and children. They feel like this gives them a security blanket for sexting. The risk of their frisky photos being distributed all over the internet are lower, so they let their guard down and send nudes or aggressive photos to strangers. Like we’ve mentioned before, the “gone forever” aspect is only a false sense of security. There is no reason kids need to be less careful with this app that with any other app. And now parents have been given the power to monitor Snapchat like all other messaging apps as well! We really want to push you to start using your powers for good. Snapchat happens to be the fastest growing social media app. Kids prefer using it to Facebook or Twitter, so more of your parenting muscle should be used for it!

Social Media at Work: Harmless or a Real Workplace Problem?

You can’t ask your employees to turn off their smartphones when they come to work. You simply can’t, not in 2016. With the incessant need for connectivity, it is not just our personal lives that are dependent on our smartphones. Our work lives are just as reliant on it. So to ask your employees to shut off their phones for 9 hours of the day—that’s the majority of the time of their active day—you’ll be asking them to essentially unsubscribe from the world as it is happening. To go back to the Stone Age as it were. You can’t ask them to do that anymore. The emerging workforce is going to be made up of Millennial and this sort of stuff just won’t encourage them. What do you do then? How do you draw the line between harmless disruption and what could possibly be a serious workplace problem? The Firm’s Privacy Becomes Vulnerable The thing you’ve got to do is to make sure that your employee’s social media antics do not compromise your firm’s privacy. Sometimes, young employees like to update every minute of every day on social media. Sometimes this could be trivial stuff. Other times, they could be sharing important stuff—like company tasks or information about campaigns—that in the wrong hands could spell disaster for you. Therefore, while it should be all right for them to use social media as they please, you could make sure that they aren’t oversharing to the point where it becomes detrimental to the company. You can do this by monitoring their Facebook if they use it through company provided devices. This will help you regulate and filter some things that you fear will compromise your security. A Constant Distraction from Work The other challenge you face with social media at work is the constant distraction. People always want to be the first to comment on their friend’s new Instagram upload. They like to be up to date with their Snap stories. They want to know if someone has posted something funny lest it become a meme later on. Simply hearing your phone buzz gives you an endorphin rush, and hurt your productivity. Your employees with be in the search of who could be calling them, why they’re calling them, what could possibly the buzz of notification mean? If you ask me, using social media at work is a plus. It keeps your suitably motivated in case they are having a block, it inspires them when they look at the world’s events, it keeps them entertained at work. Heck, it is even great for you because the more your employees use social media, the more en vogue they are with the internet and social media trends, which could help your company as well. Finding the Middle Ground The trick is to find the right balance. How much social media is good and how much of it is bad? To be honest, if you’ve set day to day tasks as well as a quality assurance benchmark and all of it is being met, you don’t really have a problem. However, if you feel like social media at work is interfering with the day to day performance of your employees, that’s when you know you have a problem. Solve it with your monitoring app and you’ll be good to go.

Listen to What This User Has to Say About XNSPY Android Security Monitoring

Did you know that you can use XNSPY for your own device as well? Although I may have mentioned it a couple of times, this blog is usually dedicated to parents, guardians and employers. They make up the bulk of users anyway. But I really wanted you guys to know that XNSPY mobile monitoring is always a great way to connect your own device—smartphones or tablets—onto a cloud based service. This way, you will automatically have a backup to all your data. You will be able to wirelessly connect to it through your computer. You’re basically hooking your phone onto an Online Control Panel, so if for some reason your phone is not around you, you can log into your XNSPY account and check out your text messages or emails online. Or, you can use it to protect your data and device itself in case of theft or misplacement. Check out what this young user had to say about her experience with XNSPY: What’s Her Situation? This charming user talks about how she tends to be quite forgetful. As a result, she has often gotten her phone misplaced or stolen and she finds herself having to buy a new one every so often. Seems like quite the hassle if you ask me. She also makes a really good point—Android phones don’t particularly have a good built in security system that would protect internal data if not the device itself. This is why she uses XNSPY, to keep track of her device and to keep the internal data safe. Do you want to learn more about the features she was talking about? Let me walk you through it. Lock Your Phone So, the first thing she is talking about is the lock phone feature. When you lose your phone, your knee jerk reaction is to pat your pockets, check your space, trace back your steps… anything to try to relocate it. Now, with this feature, you can wirelessly lock your phones so that in the time it takes for you to find it, no one can pick it up and go through its contents. Sounds simple enough, doesn’t it? You go to your online control panel. You send a command that would lock your device. Now, if anyone were to decide to pick it up and steal it, they would get the physical device only. Not the data within it. And let me remind you, internal data can consist of anything from personal photos to credit card numbers. So I don’t think I need to highlight just how valuable the inside of your phone is. In the event of stolen or lost phones, most people worry about having lost the monetary value of the physical device. But trust me, losing your internal data has way more complications. Wipe Phone’s Memory Another thing our user talks about is the wipe memory feature. If you think that your phone is lost for good, you can go to your online control panel and delete your phone completely of all its memory. This way, while the person who picked up/stole your phone would now be in possession of your physical device, they will have no way of getting to your internal memory because it simply won’t be there. This is a really useful tool for when the worst has happened. We’re glad that our users are open to sharing their experiences and telling us about all the ways they are putting XNSPY to use. What about you? Is there a special way that YOU put our app to use? Let us know in the comments section or write to us to  be featured on this blog. See Also: Android Spy Application

Celebrate a Safe 4th of July With Your Parental Control in Tow

It’s that time of the year again where you fire up your grills, light up the fireworks and think about how great our country is. The Fourth of July happens to be one of my favorite holidays of the year. I happen to love barbecues in the summer air surrounded by friends and family. It is like one big party tied together with the feeling of patriotism, even if it for a single day. But I happen to work at XNSPY and this means that as always, I’ve got to remind you to be safe when you go out to celebrate this year. It is nice to celebrate freedom with the ones you love, but you should also know that the Fourth of July has a bit of a reputation for being the most dangerous holiday of the year. Perhaps it is the mix of alcohol combined with people out on the streets for parades, fireworks and the roads themselves that just spells recklessness. There are more DUIs during this holiday than any other time, because boozing just happens to be an Independence Day tradition. Then of course, there are the fireworks related accidents. So how do you make sure you celebrate an incident free Independence Day this year? We’ve gathered a few safety tips for you that we think should help you out. Plan Your Day Ahead of Time The first thing we suggest you do is sit the family down and discuss your plans. Some families like to spend this holiday together. Others like to invite friends over and make it a more social affair. Whatever your plans are, talk to each other about them. Do not presume to know that the other will be safe. Knowing where each member of the family will be is a good idea for a number of reasons. Times of public chaos are usually when children go missing. You can track your children with your parental control and be informed where they are going. At the same time, the kids can know where you are in times of emergency. Say No to DIY Fireworks Do not experiment with homemade fireworks. They are a recipe for disaster and can have life altering consequences. Messing with explosives can cause injuries that are irreversible. In riskier circumstances, they can even be fatal. Our advice is that you do to a public fireworks display. They are conducted in open spaces away from homes and flammable things. And they are far more beautiful and mesmerizing. By lighting homemade fireworks, you do not only put yourself in danger, you put other people in danger as well. While public displays have pyrotechnicians that know how to safely release the fireworks, homemade fireworks are a riskier in that they  can light up at the wrong time or land whilst they are still fired up. Track Children During Parades Going to Independence Day parades is a lot of fun, especially for kids. Most children I know begin decorating their bikes in red, white and blue long before the 4th of July has even began. They use the parade as an opportunity to show off and well, just be kids. Once more, you should track your children during these parades to make sure your child does not get lost. With your parental control app, you can set geo-fences. This will help you mark a safe zone and a danger zone on the map. If your child strays away from the safe zone, you will get an instant notification. You can then track their current location and retrieve them before things go wrong. Drive Responsibly The next thing you’ve got to discuss in the family—especially with your teens—is to drive responsibly during this day. Like we mentioned before, the occurrences of DUIs are the highest at this time of the year, so you should guide your kids to stay away from busy roads. Moreover, you need to make sure your child isn’t being reckless by drinking underage and driving. Drunk drivers hurt other people more often than they hurt themselves. You parental controls will hopefully help you have a nice and memorable Independence Day weekend. Just take a few precautions beforehand and enjoy the rest of your day worry free. This year, the 4th of July has come at a time when the Election fever is at a high! So we should also take this time to remind our reader to register to vote. Do your part as an American so you can earn the right to complain later 😀 Happy Independence Day!

American Red Cross Delivers Safety Tips for Independence Day 2016

Looks like we’re not the only ones handing out safety tips this Fourth of July. The American Red Cross has also recently released a safety post for the upcoming Independence Day Weekend and we’d like to share them with you. Most of the safety tips concern beaches and fireworks, because according to them, that is where most of the accidents are likely to occur. Moreover, they are also taking action to make sure no such accidents occur. They have released the First Aid app so that people can have safety measure a tap of the finger away. And as always, remember that you also have the XNSPY app on your side to help you track your children in a time where there are likely to be crowds and a lot of chaos. Safety in Fireworks Like us, the Red Cross has suggested that it is best to attend a public fireworks display rather than do one at home. In order to have a safe and accident free experience, you should be at least 500 feet away from the show, therefore doing one at home is risky. Moreover, public displays are put on my pyrotechnicians who know what they are doing. However, if you absolutely must have a fireworks show at home, make sure you are following the safety protocol to a tee. This includes making sure kids never handle fireworks of any kind. Make sure you’re near a water supply before you light the fireworks. Always wear eye protection while lighting them and only light them one at a time. Never light a firework near flammable things or point them toward people, buildings, animals or cars. Moreover, stay away from places where amateurs are lighting fireworks, especially the DIY kinds. Safety in the Water The other thing that the Red Cross has issued warnings about is the beach. They predict that millions of people will hit the beaches this Fourth of July weekend. The huge crowds in the water could pose a safety hazard. So if you do plan on visiting the beach, make sure you know how to swim first. Moreover, choose a spot where there is a lifeguard present. Follow all instructions and all safety rules the beach has enforced. Moreover, if you do want to go out to swim, make sure you go with a buddy. If you are accompanying children, make sure they wear lifejackets. Keep a close eye on the children and don’t let them stray too far into the water. Safety in Rip Currents Most lifeguard rescues happen in rip currents. They are in fact most responsible for most beach related deaths. How do you recognize that a beach has rip currents? It’s quite simple really because most beaches with waves that are breaking are likely to have rip currents. If however you do find yourself in a rip current, swim parallel to shore till you are free. Once you’re free, swim toward the shore. Make sure you read up on safety protocol completely before going swimming, especially in a time where there is likely to be a lot of chaos occurring. Install Safety Apps Beforehand The final thing that Red Cross has warned people about for the holiday weekend is to get safety apps before you begin going out to celebrate the holiday. The Swim App is the perfect app to learn all about safety in the water. Share this with the entire family, especially with your children, before you head out to the beach. The app also has a version for kids where they can learn through gamification. The second safety app you should keep on hand is the First Aid app. This will provide you with instant guidance on what to do if you find yourself in an emergency medical situation. This includes anything from bee stings to performing CPR. And of course, the third app you’ve got to have is XNSPY. This will help you track your children when you head out so that you never lose them and if they stray too far, you can always relocate them. What’s more is that you can set geo-fences around safe areas and danger zones. If the children do cross the danger zones, you will be notified right away and you can go after them and stop them from harming themselves. Have a safe Independence Day!

Tinder and iMessage Chat Monitoring

We’ve Added Tinder and iMessage Chat Monitoring in Time for Independence Day 2016!

The 4th of July is almost here and we here at XNSPY are feeling rather patriotic. This is why we’ve added brand new features into our list of offerings: Tinder and iMessage chat monitoring. These were the two highly requested apps that our customers—in particular, the parents—wanted us to add to our cache of features. To them I’d like to say, I know you’ve waited long. But we really wanted to work on getting the app exactly right for you guys so that you’d get a bug free experience. It did take longer than we expected but we finally got it exactly right. And we’ve managed the features just in time for Independence Day because that’s how we roll. Tinder Monitoring If you’re not familiar with Tinder, it is basically a dating app that uses location tracking to find matches near you. It is completely free of cost and it is really easy to use. It is also much preferred over dating websites which are now considered outdated (pun intended). This is why the app attracts younger people. However, as you would have guessed by now, the app has become more of a “hook up” service rather than a dating app. We aren’t judging if you use the app for whatever purpose. We’re just letting you know that if you’ve got a child below 18 who is using the app to hook up with complete strangers, you should be informed about it. As we’ve come to learn, the app is being used by predators that use the service to scope out their victims. The police have warned parents about sex predators that may be using the app to prey on minors. The app has a section for 13 to 17-year-olds, which makes them even easier to target. When you join Tinder (or any social media platform for that matter) you can choose any birthday you like and there is no way to verify if you’re telling the truth or not. This means that predators can pretend to be teens to attract and talk to minors before coaxing them into a meetup. It is with these dangers in mind that we’ve given parents the ability to monitor their teen’s Tinder apps. With it, parents will have the ability to view the messages exchanged on the app as well as their dating preferences. This way parents can know who their children are connecting with and can even find out if they plan to meet up with someone unknown or sketchy. Tinder monitoring is simply the need of the hour for parents with teens. Tinder just happens to be one of the fastest growing dating apps that already has over 50 million users. There are more school children on the app than there are adults over 35. This is definitely something that parents everywhere should be wary of. iMessage Chat Monitoring The other thing we’ve added to our list of features is iMessage monitoring. If you don’t know what iMessage is, let us get you up to speed. It is an IM chat sort of app that allows you to send free messages (photos, sound messages, videos, and your location) to other iOS device users. You can share photos and videos with your contacts, at no cost at all. It is a lot like WhatsApp, Viber, and such apps, and easy to use. There are interesting emoji’s in it too, which makes expressing your feelings interesting and fun. There are good things and bad things about this app, as is the case for most social media apps. As you can imagine, kids have found creative ways for using this app. They mostly use it to send funny photos or videos of each other to their close friends. That kind of fun is harmless and doesn’t have consequences. However, eventually they take riskier photos and videos as well and they easily dare to send nudes to strangers. There are sexual predators online who coax naïve kids to send revealing selfies and they fall easy victims. If they take sexually aggressive photos of themselves and send them to a stranger, they run the risk of that photo going viral online. This always ends with blackmails and worse consequences. We’ve developed iMessage monitoring so that parents may look out for the bad stuff and keep kids safe. Keep an eye out! Keep an Eye Out! We hope you enjoy the new features we’ve rolled out and hope that they add to your digital monitoring endeavors. As for the people who’ve been requesting it for weeks, thank you for your patience. We hope the features we’ve got out for you are to your liking and that the wait was worth it. And that’s not it! We here at XNSPY have also been working on a couple of other things. So, you should keep an eye out for even more exciting offers from us coming really soon. Stay tuned to find out more!

iPhone Monitoring Helps This Real Estate Broker Run His Business

Our iPhone monitoring app is used by employers and small business owners all around the world. It helps managers keep an eye on all their employees at the same time. By have everyone on one interface, their monitoring time is optimized, and they can get better work done. Moreover, the cloud based system helps keep all the data integrated so that if the manager would want to go back and revisit a conversation, all they would have to do is go through their data bank to fish it out. So yes, iPhone monitoring has been helping out many businesses, especially the real ones. One of our users runs a real estate business. Here’s his experience using XNSPY: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SxVt3adqDZQ Let me sum up this little video for you. Basically, this gentleman talks about: How he has hired a bunch of brokers who make the rounds to sell property How he has given every single broker an iPhone to aid in the selling function How every iPhone also comes hooked onto a data plan paid for by the company How he fears that some employees may be using data for personal calls How he fears that some employees may be using company resources to make personal deals with clients How his business is small, so every penny counts What’s more, he pointed out a few interesting ways in which he uses XNSPY for iPhone monitoring. XNSPY as Quality Assurance He uses the call recorder feature for Quality Assurance. By listening back to the phone calls that his brokers make to different clients, he can check that they went through all the standard procedures as planned, were abiding by the sales training and that they were only providing the highest quality service to all the customers. Moreover, the gentleman, as a manager could track down problem areas and know what the problem areas are: is it a pitch issue, a closing issue? Is the broker unable to understand what the client wants? This tool basically helps him carry out an entire business function. Which is amazing for us to hear. XNSPY to Prevent “Under the Table” Deals Next up, he uses XNSPY to make sure no unethical under the table deals are being made by his employees. When you’ve got a staff that spends more time outside the office than they do inside, it requires a lot of trust. The employees are trusted to abide by the honor code, and you’re to trust that they will bring the business into your company. But what happens when the employees start using company resources to make personal deals? That’s what XNSPY helps you with. When you monitor communication, you can understand why an interested client has suddenly turned down a good deal. XNSPY to Monitor Package/Data Plans Another problem that this manager was having was that his employees were using company provided phones to make personal calls. To many, this may seem like a non issue… after all, one or two phone calls cannot hurt, right? But the gentleman mentions that his business is small, and perhaps his employees together were making more non-work phone calls than he could afford. So once more, he monitors call logs to see what calls were made to clients and what calls were for totally non work puposes. I’m quite enjoying the user testimonial series because it helps you see how more people like you use XNSPY to solve their daily troubles. But what’s more, it helps us in improving our app to accommodate all these diverse needs as well. So keep us informed, XNSpies!

Employees Monitoring App
Employee Monitoring

5 Reasons You Should Be Monitoring Employees on the Go

Are you still not quite convinced that you should be using an employee monitoring software? This is 2016, people, and the benefits of using apps to make everyday tasks easier are now clearer than ever. If you’re choosing to turn your back on the new wave of management just because you’re too comfortable with the status quo, I can easily predict that you’re going to find yourself in a state of stagnation pretty soon. Time to step it up, my friend. Technology and all the goodies that come with it are in the air. Time to use it to your benefit now when it counts. This is why you should be thinking about remotely monitoring employees: 1.     To Increase Work Productivity When your employees are aware of that fact that the work they do is being monitored, their sense of accountability is revised. They will know that you’re aware of how they spend their time in the office, what their day to day activities are and how productive they are being with their time. This consciousness of being monitored will drive them into action as they try to do the best job they possibly can in order to impress their bosses. 2.     To Monitor Work as it Happens The second benefit of monitoring employees on the go is the fact that you can keep an eye on their work as it happens. You can measure output, check for quality, see that the right jobs are being assigned to the right people. Sometimes, a manager may misread an employee’s abilities and assign them tasks that are not necessarily suited to their temperament. In this case, you can step in before things go wrong and see that there are person job fits in your company. 3.     To Give Timely Feedback The reason why there are always delays in feedbacks and employee assessments is the fact that most bosses don’t quite know what employees do on a day to day basis. So when the calendar strikes “Annual Review”, they take an overall look at their work and come at a rushed decision. When you’re got employee monitoring app on your side, you’ve get a chance to—as we mentioned above—know what’s going on with your employees in real time. This means you can give timely feedback, giving your employees a chance to correct themselves if they are in the wrong and a motivation to keep on doing better, knowing their good work is acknowledged. 4.     To Work Well Under Strict Deadlines When you are aware of what person is right for what job, you can remotely assign tasks for projects. From there on, you can track tasks, time spent on each project manual, correspondences made with different clients, and the rights and wrongs of every project. Thus, you can make sure that every person on the team is doing their part and that everything is being delivered in a timely manner. 5.     For Employee Security Another thing that XNSPY is used for is employee security itself. Chances are that you’ve got a lot of outbound staff. Perhaps you have a sales team that meets with clients all day. Perhaps you have truck drivers who take your shipment from point A to point B. In all of those cases, you need to make sure that employee security is of the utmost importance to you. Your tracker will help you do just that. Still not convinced? Here’s a shocking news story about a pizza delivery guy who was attacked while he was out delivering pizzas. There’s a lot more that can go wrong if the odds are against you. Step it up and be the modern, digital manager you need to be.

Using XNSPY Parental Control
Cyberbullying

Mom Tracks Down Cyberbullies Using XNSPY Parental Control

Some parents don’t feel like being too strict is the way to go. Some parents believe in building a relationship based on trust with their children. They hope that when something goes wrong, their child with come to them on their own and discuss everything that’s bothering them. If only life were so easy. In reality, teenagers become reclusive when something is troubling them. Maybe it’s because they’re too embarrassed by their situation. Maybe because they think parents are too old and they just don’t understand what teenagers go through. Maybe because they think no one really understands what’s going on in their heads. But the truth of the matter is that your child feels lonelier when they are inside their own heads. Most of their problems are easily solved if you get involved. Watch this mom as she explains her struggle to get through to her 14 year old daughter: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fc35wPnNlpw When her daughter started acting strange and being overly attached to her smartphone, this mom realized something was wrong. So she used XNSPY parental control to get to the bottom of it and realized that her daughter was being cyberbullied. Now, this is something she would’ve have figured out otherwise. Cyberbullies don’t exist in their real, physical lives, do they? They exist in the online world which is not readily visible to the mother. So how is she to know what her daughter is going through unless she takes a hands on monitoring approach? This mom had a hunch that something was up and she used her motherly instinct to do the right thing and find the right solution for her daughter. Here are a few things you can learn from her experience. Reading Her WhatsApp Messages Right now, WhatsApp is the way that kids are talking to each other. More so than SMS or email. In fact, for 14-15 year olds, SMS and email are modes of communication used by business people… or something they used in times of emergency. WhatsApp is instantaneous, interactive and fun. Therefore, it is their communication mode of choice. So it was quite a clever decision for this mom to monitor WhatsApp. She knew that the thick of a teenager’s digital interaction takes place here. Therefore, she read through all her conversations and found out who was bullying her daughter and what they were teasing her about. Tracking Her Current Locations Another thing that the mother mentioned was that she used GPS tracker. In her case, it was a few kids at school that were bullying her daughter. So she knew that the threat of her daughter getting hurt was near. She decided to track her GPS location to make sure she was safe. It would be even better if you track your children if they are being threatened by strangers. Cyberstalkers could be anyone in the world… you never know how big a threat to your child’s safety they are till it is too late. The unspeakable, tragic event of Christina Grimmie’s murder is an example to parents of how cyberstalking turning into real stalking can have such violent, gruesome outcomes. Let this be a lesson to all parents living in the digital age. Take care of your children’s mental well being as well as their physical one. Be active now when it counts.

Royal CyberBullying Task Force
Cyberbullying

Prince William to Create Royal Cyberbullying Task Force

Seems like the gravity of cyberbullying as a modern day issue has finally reached the grand halls of the Buckingham Palace. Prince Williams, who is now a father of two, fears that his own children will have to grow up in a world where cyber bulling exists. It makes complete sense, too. Already at the tender ages of 2 and 1, Prince George and Princess Charlotte are social media favorites. Their births broke the internet as people gathered outside the hospital, tweeting updates in real time. Then later on, their Baptism was livestreamed to the entire world as well. Needless to say, the Royal babies are already internet celebrities. Keeping this in mind, Prince William is speaking to the big shots of the internet world, talking about protecting children online. He spoke to the Chairmen at Twitter, Google, and an audience of top tech personnel, saying that when wife Catherine “Kate” Middleton and he decided to start a family, they were appalled by the ever increasing rates of cyberbulling reports. Sidenote: we should point out here that so many cases of cyberbulling go unreported. This means that the true scope of cyberbullying as a phenomenon is actually far greater than the “reports” would have you believe. Needless to say, we encourage that more parents actively take part in reporting such cases… a passive approach will only make things worse. As it so happens, Prince William’s approach to the issue is far from passive. He wishes to form a Cyberbullying Task Force and asks for tech gurus to lend their “energy and assistance” to turn something which is a worrying situation into an opportunity. This campaign is being launched as part of the broader mental health awareness campaign. The three royals, Prince William, Princess Kate and Prince Harry have each chosen an area of concentration in this campaign. Prince William has been working with young men with high suicide rates. Princess Kate has been wrking with young people. Prince Harry has been working with the mental health of military personnel. Prince William, in his address to the tech audience, mentioned the perks and progress that social media brings forward but also warns of the perils it entails. But he admitted that this problem is not a new one, neither one that he is unaccustomed to. On the contrary, he mentioned that as many others his age, he is always glued to his smartphone for many reasons… be it entertainment, news, gaming, even work. He also joked that no one spoil the England vs. Wales soccer game for him. And then he mentioned (matching his opinion with the XNSPY blog quite well, we might mentioned) that now, there is no difference between a child’s online and offline life anymore. Therefore it is important that a systematic task force be set up that can take everything that is good about the internet and social media and use it to strategize a cyberbulling remedy. And one more, much like the XNSPY blog, kids that use the internet are too young. They lack the mature and experience to make informed judgments about safety and people. We wholeheartedly agree with Prince William and we will reiterate what we’ve been talking about for a couple of years now. Something needs to be done. You already have the XNSPY Parental Control on your side as the hands on solution. Hopefully, the Task Force brings about the mass awareness on cyberbullying that the world needs.
